High Season
From December to February the climate on the island is hot and humid, with a maximum temperature of 35 °C. Outdoor activities are perfect for this season, December is the month of diving and water activities in general, on the other Part, cyclones are common from January to February.
Shoulder Season
From March to April and from October to November the island is reduced in number of tourists. March and April still have a very good climate to travel to the coast, and in April there is a price rise for Easter. On the other hand, October and November present a very similar climate. These dates are good to enjoy the weather avoiding the big hordes of tourists.
Low Season
From May to September there is a warm but dry climate. The temperatures are cooler, but the tropical presence still exists. The activities in seas and oceans do not present good conditions, but other activities persist in the interior zone of the country.
