High Season

The best time to visit Myanmar is from December to February, where the hot and humid weather is not too overwhelming for tourists. The lodging and other services suffer a prices increase.

Shoulder Season

October, November, March and April are months where tourists abound less. October and November have less rainfall than a few months before, and the climate is quite manageable, March and April are warm months with variable weather.

Low Season

The southwest monsoon starts in mid-May and continues through September. The rains are torrential and the climate is still very warm. Some roads could be impassable, and outdoor activities are not recommended.
