High Season
Prices and the highest temperatures are between June and August where large crowds are expected visiting coasts and cities, book any service in advance. Turkish school holidays in mid-June and September increase the number of local visitors.
Shoulder Season
Fewer crowds in the country in May and September, except during the Kurban Bayrami holiday when local tourists often leave their homes. Warm spring and autumn temperatures, especially in the southwest. The high season months of Istanbul are April, May, September and October.
Low Season
October is autumn and spring begins in April. Between these months the attendance of tourists is at a minimum. There are accommodations in nearby tourist areas or discount offers. Prices fall below normal. High season in ski resorts. The low season of Istanbul is from November to mid-March.
